The Food Technology Students Achievement Room Committee 2023 held a training again on Saturday (06/05). The training was themed “How to be a Good Presenter” and was attended by coach from APINDO (Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association) named Mr. Yayan Sopian S.Sos., M.M. Mr. Yayan Sopian S.Sos., M.M is the Regional Corporate Affairs Manager – Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia that is also active in APINDO as head of the Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperation Division. At the training, Mr. Yayan conveyed the importance of good presentation skills and the obstacles that were faced when presenting in public.
In the training, the resource person provided several tips and tricks on how to conduct a good and structured presentation so that the ideas to be conveyed could be easily understood by the audience. The resource person shared several important points that should be considered when conducting a presentation, including: opening, eye contact, structure, ideas, voice, and body.
In addition to the materials that were presented, the participants were also given the opportunity to practice how to speak and present in public. At that opportunity, the participants practiced how to conduct and deliver presentations and speeches in public better, as well as not being boring and attracting the listeners’ attention.
The training was followed very enthusiastically by 26 selected students with respective achievements and motivations. This activity is expected to make Food Technology ITERA students, especially, more active and more achievement-oriented when they are in the college classroom and in the future (DNF/MNU).
