The Food Technology Study Program of the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA) won 2 awards at the ITERA Public Relations Awards (Anugerah Humas ITERA) 2022. The awards were presented at the Anugerah Humas ITERA event, held in person at the Building C Hall, ITERA, Lampung, and broadcast live on the ITERA YouTube channel on Tuesday morning (29/11/2022).
The awards won by the Food Technology Study Program were First Place in the Press Release Category (Study Program category) and First Place in the Website Management Category (Program category). The award for each category was presented by the Rector of ITERA, I Nyoman Pugeg Aryantha, to the Food Technology Study Program, represented by Masayu Nur Ulfa of the study program’s public relations and social media team.
These best-title honors were won by the Food Technology Study Program after a selection of 44 reports from study programs and units/departments/institutions at the Sumatra Institute of Technology. “We invite the entire academic community at the Sumatra Institute of Technology to collaborate in building better publications and public relations management at the Sumatra Institute of Technology. Because in organizing the ITERA Public Relations Awards, we also emphasize that it is not about who becomes a winner or not, but the spirit of publication and effective, efficient, and certainly creative dissemination of information,” said ITERA Public Relations Sub-Coordinator, Rudiansyah. The Rector of ITERA also stated that information within the campus must serve as a means of promotion, which will give the public high trust, so that ITERA’s performance continues to improve, making ITERA independent, strong, beneficial, and dignified.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Food Technology Study Program, Amalia Wahyuningtyas, said she was proud and grateful for winning this award and hoped it would provide motivation for improving the study program’s performance. “Thank you to the social media team who have worked extraordinarily. This is one of the triggers of enthusiasm to give our best and work with totality,” said Amalia.
Before winning the two ITERA Public Relations Awards in 2022, the Food Technology Study Program had also won two awards at the ITERA Public Relations Awards, namely first best in the website management category and second best in the social media category in 2021.
