The Food Technology Study Program of Sumatra Institute of Technology (PSTP ITERA) organizes a scholarship program in the form of training (Beastudi) for all students of the 2019 and 2018 cohorts of PSTP ITERA. The Tekpang Achievement Room aims to provide various softskill trainings to all beneficiaries to improve their academic and non-academic achievements. The training provided consists of identifying interests and talents through talent mapping, and planning study activities and post-campus careers through life mapping. In addition, beneficiaries will also receive several trainings to improve the quality of their written works, from design thinking, scientific writing, and presentation techniques to the art of debating to express opinions scientifically. Leadership development is also provided to complement the aspects possessed by high-achieving students. The Tekpang Achievement Room program will run from April to December 2021.
To participate in the Tekpang Achievement Room 2021 program, applicants must meet several requirements: being a PSTP ITERA student in semester 2 or 4, having the motivation to improve their capacity and softskills, and having the commitment to complete the program. A selection process will be conducted based on an online form, and in 2021 the quota of beneficiaries is 30 students. Beneficiaries will also receive facilities such as softskill coaching and mentoring, guidance and mentoring in participating in competitions, assistance in applying for achievement support from ITERA student affairs, and the right to receive the full prize if they win a competition.
