As is known, SNMPTN is one of the admission pathways to state universities (PTN) for undergraduate programs, which uses the results of an academic achievement review and/or the portfolio of prospective students.

What are the school requirements for registering students through the SNMPTN pathway?
School Requirements
- SMA/MA/SMK that has an NPSN.
- Accreditation Provisions:
- Accreditation A: 40 % best in their school
- Accreditation B: 25 % best in their school
- Accreditation C and others: 5% best in their school
- Fill in the School and Student Database (PDSS). The student data entered must be only those who are eligible according to the provisions.
Please note that SNMPTN participants are final-year students still registered at the school. The student requirements are as follows:
Final-year (grade 12) SMA/MA/SMK students in 2022 who have outstanding achievements:
- Have academic achievements and meet the requirements set by each PTN
- Have an NISN and be registered in the PDSS
- Have report card grades for semesters 1 to 5 entered in the PDSS
- Participants who choose study programs in the fields of arts and sports must upload a Portfolio.
Prospective students can register for SNMPTN and choose 2 study programs from 1 PTN or 2 PTN, where one condition when choosing 2 study programs is that one of the PTN MUST be located in the same Province as the applicant’s SMA/MA/SMK. However, if choosing one study program, applicants may choose a PTN in any province. Applicants are advised not to choose study programs across different fields of interest. For example, students who choose the ITERA Food Technology Study Program are not advised to choose the ITERA Architecture Study Program, because they are in different fields of interest.
According to information from the 2022 LTMPT Implementation Chair, Budi P. Widyobroto, prospective students are expected to come from the region of their school. Therefore, prospective students who wish to take the SNMPTN pathway are advised to choose a PTN located in the same region as their school. In 2022 there are 126 PTN, including Sumatra Institute of Technology, one of whose programs is the ITERA Food Technology Study Program.
Addition:
Prospective students who graduated in 2020 and 2021 must register for an LTMPT account again (from the beginning) if they wish to take part in the 2022 Joint Selection for State University Admission (SBMPTN).
