A total of 50 selected students from two combined cohorts of the ITERA Food Technology Study Program held the first meeting of Tekpang Achievement Room 2021 online. The event was held on Saturday (24/04/2021) and involved several lecturers of the ITERA Food Technology Study Program and representatives of ABhome, Bogor.
At this first meeting, the recipients of the Tekpang Achievement Room 2021 scholarship were invited to get to know their character and potential through a platform provided by ABhome, Bogor. ABhome, located in Bogor, is a leading Non-formal Education Institution initiated by Setyo Budi, STP. He is a graduate of the Mechanical and Biosystems Engineering Study Program of IPB University, with a concentration of interest in developing children’s interests and potential.
Mr. Budi began the discussion with material titled “Interests, Talents, and Career Plans of Food Technology Graduates”. As the title suggests, the recipients of the Tekpang Achievement Room 2021 scholarship are expected to be able to map their potential and area of improvement before determining their planning steps as high-achieving individuals.
Before the event began, the recipients of the Tekpang Achievement Room 2021 scholarship also had the opportunity to take a free online talent test from ABhome, Bogor. The enthusiasm of the recipients was clearly observed throughout the event. Many questions about the material were posed to Mr. Budi as the speaker, and quite a few recipients were even willing to openly discuss personal issues related to the search for their interests and talents.

At this first meeting, the recipients of the Tekpang Achievement Room 2021 scholarship were given a special assignment to create an annual life plan map. Through this assignment, they can visualize everything they want to achieve in the future. This is one of the important supporting tools for a high-achieving individual. In this way, their daily steps will be more focused and their motivation can be maintained throughout the process of achieving their goals.
— In closing, Mr. Budi advised, “make the most of your time as a student; there are many opportunities that can be used to explore your potential, interests, and talents.”
