Wednesday, May 15, 2024 Faculty of Industrial Technology together with the Food Technology Study Program at ITERA signed a cooperation agreement with Lokalate, PT. Nutrifood Indonesia. The cooperation between the Food Technology Study Program and PT. Nutrifood Indonesia includes the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum, the implementation of general lectures, and others. PT. Nutrifood Indonesia is one of the national companies that runs/produces and distributes healthy food and beverages. One of Nutrifood’s superior products is Lokalate coffee, an instant coffee powder beverage with mixed fruit and spice flavor. In accordance with PT. Nutrifood’s tagline “Inspiring You a Nutrisious Life”, PT. Nutrifood continues to be present to contribute to the development of healthy food and beverages and invites various related parties, one of which is the Food Technology Study Program.

Ms. Dian Septiana, who served as Area Marketing Associate Manager at PT.Nutrifood in Lampung, came to sign the cooperation agreement and socialize the Independent Learning Curriculum program to ITERA students. Ms. Dian said that PT. Nutrifood has four main focus areas of contribution, “Health, Green, Education, and Inclusivity”. Therefore, in the field of education, PT. Nutrifood has contributed to the Independent Learning Curriculum starting from batch 1-6, and will continue with batch 7 this year. In batch 7 this year, Nutrifood opened various positions that students can occupy as its internship program, including R&D Process & Packaging, Health & Nutrition, Production, R&D Process, QC product, and others that can be seen on the MSIB Kemdikbud website.

Ms. Dian said that “I hope that with the Merdeka Campus Internship program, students can learn directly and apply the knowledge they have learned during lectures in the field. In addition, I hope students can participate in the programs or events we routinely carry out to continue contributing to the development of healthy food and beverages”.

There are several selections that students must undergo, starting from administrative selection to interview. “Students really need to understand our tagline and the events we have held previously, so that the selection process will be easier.” The internship program offered by Nutrifood includes four aspects using the Kolb’s Experential Learning Cycle concept. This concept includes doing (active experimentation), feeling (experience), watching, and thinking.

Mr. Ilham Marvie, S.T.P., M.Si, who was the coordinator of the Food Technology Study Program, warmly welcomed the cooperation and many ITERA students will pass the MSIB program at Nutrifood.
